Festa de l'Esport Inclusiu 2024

El diumenge 19 d’abril, Cerdanyola del Vallès will host the fourth edition of the Festa de l’Esport Inclusiu, an initiative developed by the City Council through its Sports Service, in collaboration with local sports and social entities. This event, which first took place in 2023, has established itself as a notable reference due to high citizen participation and positive reception.

Maintaining a festive and participatory spirit, the event aims to promote inclusive sports practices and raise awareness about adapted sports. The activities will be held at the Parc Xarau and the Zona Esportiva Municipal Can Xarau. Various adapted sports stations will be available for participants, and registration is open to the general public, with a maximum of 500 participants.

The activities will commence at 10 AM with participant check-in, registration, and distribution of race numbers. Starting at 11 AM, multiple sports activities will take place at different stations, ensuring participants rotate through at least three activities to receive a commemorative medal.

Among the sports included are 3×3 football, basketball, handball, volleyball, adapted hockey, table tennis, athletics, crossfit, mini-tennis, bowling, and specific workshops such as slalom or the use of Joëlette chairs, among others.

The event will be animated by host Mag Igor, who will coordinate activity shifts and participate in the medal distribution following the physical activities. The festivities will conclude with an open session of adapted dance led by the Escola Qòreo Dance, allowing everyone to join in.

This in an event that demonstrates the integration of many local sports organizations and associations linked to disability, ensuring an inclusive and participative environment for all citizens.
